VALINDA - Deputies arrested a man early Wednesday morning after he led then on a pursuit and took refuge in a home.
The unidentified suspect hid in a home near Frandale Avenue and Pocono Street when the pursuit stopped at a dead end September 3. The suspect was wanted for taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent, according to Lt. Garcia of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station.
Deputies began pursuing the unidentified driver near Hacienda Boulevard and Francisquito Avenue around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, Garcia said.
The suspect ran through residential yards before taking refuge in a home. It is unclear if the suspect is a resident of the home he was arrested in, or if he may know the residents.
Deputies entered the home and arrested the suspect without further incident around 1:40 a.m. Wednesday, Garcia said.
