CityWatch Editor VALINDA - Some sort of argument led to a stabbing Sunday night. What was described as a large kitchen knife was used to wound the victim’s chest and neck near Amar Road and Echelon Avenue August 4, according to Lt. Villarreal of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station. The stabbing occurred around 10:15 p.m. The victim was apparently uncooperative. He was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center for treatment, Villarreal told SGV CityWatch. The suspect, who was identified, fled the scene before deputies arrived and was last seen running through the flood control channel south of Amar Road and Echelon Avenue. |
