No Victims Found Yet After Gunfire Breaks Out in West Covina

WEST COVINA - Police believe an altercation in the street led to gunfire Saturday afternoon.

The shooting was reported at West Workman Avenue and North Nora Avenue around 4:22 p.m. Officers arrived and could not locate a victim or a suspect, according to Lt. Tony Cortina of the West Covina Police Department.

Officers did, however, find spent shell casings in the area.

“We had [the scene] locked down, because we wanted our forensics people to process the scene,” Cortina told SGV CityWatch.

Police do not yet have descriptions of any suspects or vehicles.
