Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor WEST PUENTE VALLEY - A suspect fled into a waiting vehicle after robbing his victim at gunpoint Sunday night. The robbery was reported around 9:30 p.m. in the 700 block of North Sunset Avenue February 25. The suspect used a black semi-automatic handgun to take a cellphone and hundreds in cash, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station. The suspect fled into a waiting black four-door Honda Civic, which drove away eastbound on Homeward Street. The armed suspect is described as a 23-year-old Hispanic man, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 150 pounds to 160 pounds. He wore a hat, grey hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. |
