Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor EAST PASADENA – Detectives are searching for three suspects who robbed a marijuana dispensary Wednesday night.
The robbery was reported around 7:35 p.m. at Pasadena Herbal Club, 259 S. Rosemead Blvd., September 29. Money and a handgun was reportedly stolen, according to Lt. Paul Shigo of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Temple Station. Shigo did not have information on the amount of money taken, but in a Sheriff’s crime broadcast it was initially believed to be $4,000. The weapon was described as a 9mm Beretta. One of the reports the Sheriff’s department received before being dispatched indicated there was yelling heard inside Pasadena Herbal Club, in addition to the sound of crashing glass. Someone inside the business mentioned a weapon, according to the crime broadcast. A black vehicle was seen fleeing south on Rosemead Boulevard and west on Mountain View Avenue, Shigo told SGV CityWatch. |
