Written by AARON CASTREJON | CityWatch Editor TEMPLE CITY - A resident discovered a man tampering with his vehicle’s ignition and chased him off Friday night.
The suspect was discovered inside the victim’s white Chevy van on Rosemead Boulevard near Broadway Avenue some time after 9 p.m. July 13. The victim ordered the suspect to stop and chased the suspect away from the vehicle. A foot pursuit began south on Rosemead Boulevard, said Sgt. James Long of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Temple Station. “The suspect turned, pulled a firearm and told him to stop chasing him,” Long said. The victim stopped chasing the suspect who fled out of sight. The suspect is a white man with brown hair, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 200 pounds, between 30 and 35 years old. He wore blue jeans,a blue Dodgers hat and a blue shirt with the “LA” logo, Long said. |
