Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor VALINDA - A man estimated in his 40s died after being hit by a vehicle before 10 p.m. Friday, the California Highway Patrol and a Sheriff’s sergeant said. The collision occurred on Amar Road west of Echelon Avenue June 14. The injured man was transported to Queen of the Valley Hospital in West Covina where he was pronounced dead, according to Officer Patrick Kimball of the CHP Traffic Management Center.
The man was pronounced dead at 10:24 p.m., Kimball said. Industry deputies arrived to aid the CHP with traffic control, according to Sgt. Kneubuhler of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station. Email Newsletter! | Advertise! | Donate! |
