Maliki Foust, Jr., 22, was found shot to death in a vehicle. Majarion Foust, 19, was wounded and later died at a hospital, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner. Maliki, listed as a Victorville resident, died from multiple gunshot wounds. His manner of death was homicide. Majarion has a pending examination, according to coroner records. Both men died in the 3400 block of South Sentous Avenue. West Covina Police officers were called around 10:45 p.m. November 2. It is not publicly clear if investigators have identified any suspects. Investigators preliminarily believe that the man found unresponsive by officers in the 1500 block of East Amar Road August 26 was struck by a vehicle that was leaving the rear lot of a shopping center, according to the West Covina Police Department. Officers attempted to save the man, but he died at the scene. Police were called to the shopping center at 2:38 a.m. "Witnesses heard an altercation and a vehicle leaving the area. Upon arrival an adult male was found unresponsive on the ground in the rear parking lot of a shopping center," according to the West Covina Police Department in a written statement. The shooting that occurred November 3, 2019 left Jaime Fernandez, 26, dead. He was gunned down in his vehicle in the 300 block of South Glendora Avenue. The shooting occurred around 12:50 a.m., according to the West Covina Police Department. There was more than one person inside the black four-door sedan detectives say was involved in the murder. One person in the black sedan allegedly flashed a gang sign associated with the Puente 13 Blackwood street gang during the confrontation with Fernandez, West Covina Police said. One suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his mid-30s. He wore a manicured or trimmed beard. The still publicly-unidentified woman was the passenger in a vehicle at East Amar Road and South Azusa Avenue Saturday when a gunman opened fire around 10:16 p.m. The 29-year-old woman was transported to a local hospital, according to Lt. Tony Cortina of the West Covina Police Department. Next of kin have not been spoken to by coroner investigators, so the victim’s name is not yet being released, according to Sarah Ardalani, public information officer for the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner. Officers found the victims after arriving to a report of gunfire in the 1100 block of East Larkwood Street around 9:13 p.m., West Covina Police said. A man was critically wounded. A woman received injuries considered not life-threatening, West Covina Police said. “Detectives are currently investigating the incident as a homicide,” West Covina Police said in a written statement. 24-year-old Jose Millan died from a gunshot wound to the torso, according to Investigator Kristy McCracken of the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner. The manner of death is listed as homicide. Police received an anonymous call just after 6:30 p.m. October 6 of a possible dead body near the Big League Dreams sports complex, 2100 S. Azusa Ave., according to the West Covina Police Department. the body was found within the transient camp outside of the sports complex property. It is unclear if a suspect has been identified or arrested. The unnamed suspects are believed to be involved in the murder of La Mirada man Dennis Bracamonte at a house party Friday, May 31 in the 300 block of North Hollow Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau. The shooting took place around 10:30 p.m. A fight erupted prior to the arrival of police. Officers found three victims in a rear yard. Bracamonte was declared dead at the scene. Two male juveniles received gunshot wounds to their legs, the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.
A female juvenile wound up at a nearby hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
