Suspect Brandishes Handgun at Resident Thursday Night Near Azusa

CITRUS - One of four men inside a vehicle brandished a handgun at a man standing outside his home January 9, a Sheriff’s lieutenant said.

The incident occurred in the 18300 block of Payson Street in unincorporated Azusa. The victim was smoking a cigarette outside a home when a dark four-door vehicle drove past him, stopped, reversed and stopped in front of him again. A right rear passenger pointed a handgun at him, according to Lt. Mark Skaggs of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s San Dimas Station.
