The fire was reported at 6 a.m. at 1500 Chapin Road December 29. Vernon firefighters are working with Montebello firefighters in unison to quell the pallet fire, according to authorities. The fire continues to burn more than two hours, according to Montebello Fire dispatch traffic. Fernando Beltran (left) and Rafael Solorzano, (right) are still outstanding after two others were jailed in connection with a failed armed robbery. Both men are considered armed and dangerous, Montebello Police said. Montebello Police did not state when the failed armed robbery occurred, but did state a case was filed with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office Thursday, December 20. Beltran, Solorzano and jailed suspects Raymond Doctorczyk and James Gutierrez were charged with attempted robbery and criminal threats. Gutierrez and Solorzano are part of the Quiet Village criminal street gang. Beltran is from Huntington Park Locos. Doktorczyk is from SOuth Side Montebello.
