First responders were sent just after 11:30 p.m. to an assault with a deadly weapon call in the 3000 block of Gladys Avenue August 4. Deputies found a man, only described as a Latino adult, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was declared dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. It is not publicly clear if investigators have identified a suspect, or a motive. Anyone with information on this shooting is urged to call the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500.
