 Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor LOS ANGELES - A 20-year-old man was identified as the victim of a Saturday shooting in West Puente Valley. Alfred Reyes, a La Puente resident, was identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner. Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station responded to a “man down” call April 11 at Giordano Street and Glenshaw Drive at 11:52 p.m. Reyes was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau. Reyes died at the scene.
No suspect information was given. Anyone with information on the shooting is urged to call the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500. The shooting was reported around 11:52 p.m. at Giordano Street and Glenshaw Drive in West Puente Valley April 11, according to Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau. A Sheriff’s Homicide lieutenant is en route to the scene, Koerner told SGV CityWatch. No other information is available. |
