An unknown number of suspects fled south on Duff Avenue toward Temple Avenue in a black four-door sedan. A .45-caliber handgun was used in the shooting, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station. Connie Hernandez, 79, was last seen around 8 a.m. Saturday driving a grey 2005 Dodge Ram pickup in the 15400 block of Prichard Street. She suffers from high blood pressure, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Hernandez is Hispanic, stands 5 feet 2 inches tall, has brown hair and brown eyes. A clothing description was not given.
Anyone who knows Hernandez’s whereabouts is urged to call the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Missing Persons Detail at 323-890-5500. Information can be provided anonymously by calling L.A. A victim was robbed of cash near East Giordano Street and North California Avenue around 11:20 a.m. May 17. The suspect used force to take cash from the victim, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his 20s, stands 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and wore a black hooded sweatshirt and black shorts. The suspect fled east on Giordano Avenue and north on Sandy Hook Avenue. The driver was likely speeding when the BMW struck a curb, went airborne briefly, crashed through a cinder block wall and partially into a bedroom in the 1000 block of Molinar Avenue near Amar Road, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station.
The crash occurred around 11:50 p.m. May 12. A woman inside the home was hospitalized with minor injuries. The robbery occurred at North Orange Avenue and Amar Road around 10:50 p.m. May 7. Both suspects fled southbound Orange Avenue from Amar Road in a black sedan with blue paper plates, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station.
Both suspects are Hispanic men in their mid 20s. Both were described as having spiky hair. |
