CityWatch Editor VALINDA - Four suspects in a newer-model white Camaro fled with an undisclosed amount of cash after forcing their way into a liquor store and destroying an ATM June 8. The suspects used power tools to gain access into the liquor store and then pried the cash box from the ATM at Tony’s liquor, 16015 Amar Rd., according to Sgt. Becerra of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station. Deputies were called to the liquor store around 5:35 a.m. All four suspects wore gloves and hooded sweatshirts. Becerra did not have a last seen direction of travel for the Camaro. The amount of cash kept in the stolen cash box was not immediately known. |
