​Sedan Strikes Home, Four Injured in Bassett Collision Saturday

BASSETT - Two people were critically injured and two received non-life-threatening injuries in a violent crash that flipped a car that ultimately struck a home.

The crash occurred just before 11:30 p.m. June 15 near Vineland Avenue and Amar Road. Two sedans ended up crashing: one struck a wall, the second violently crashed through a cinderblock wall and struck a home.

No one in the home was injured.

The vehicles that crashed may have been racing prior to the collision, the California Highway Patrol was initially told.
