 Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE - Firefighters are gaining the upper hand on a small vegetation fire burning on a La Cañada hillside Monday night.
The fire was reported around 9:49 p.m. June 8 Near Inverness Drive and Saint Katherine Drive. The fire reached one-quarter of an acre as of 10:25 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The fire is 10 percent contained. County firefighters are cancelling requested assistance from Verdugo firefighters as well as all incoming aircraft. It is unclear if any structures are threatened. |
