Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor SOUTH PASADENA - A man was booked on suspicion of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon, accused of stabbing another man during an altercation April 21.
The fight began in the 1000 block of Fremont Avenue around 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Witnesses reported two men fighting each other, but the two then headed to the L Line South Pasadena Station. At the station, officers found both men in question. One man suffered multiple stab wounds to his face, chest, arms and one of his hands. His injuries, though, are considered not life-threatening, according to the South Pasadena Police Department. The wounded man identified 51-year-old James Hibdon as his assailant. Hibdon was arrested at the L Line station without incident. Both men are transients. Hibdon is being held in Lou of $1 million bail at the Inmate Reception Center in Los Angeles.
