 Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor TEMPLE CITY - Deputies believe a family was the victim of a prank call after a man stated he shot his wife and tied up another person Saturday night. Sheriff’s dispatchers received a call from a man stating he shot his wife and had another person tied up in the 5900 block of Sultana Avenue just before 8:30 p.m. Deputies, assisted by a helicopter, secured the home and ordered everyone out, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Temple Station. Deputies finished detaining everyone inside the home and secured the residence by 8:50 p.m.
No shooting victims were found. It is not yet clear where the call originated from. |
