Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor ALTADENA - The gunman and accomplice involved in a shooting against a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy remain outstanding December 10. A deputy driving northbound in her marked patrol car was fired upon in the 2500 block of Fair Oaks Avenue at 12:33 p.m. December 4. Both suspects fled on foot from the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The deputy was uninjured.
A nearby surveillance camera caught both suspects fleeing. Both suspects shed some of their clothing as they ran. One suspect’s black jacket and shoes were located, as well as a white jacket from the second suspect. Anyone with information on these suspects is urged to call Altadena Station Detective C.
