Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor DUARTE – A suspect fled the scene of a Crash November 5 after reportedly threatening his passenger with a knife and punching the passenger.
The suspect and passenger met at a party in Pomona around 5 p.m. that same day. The suspect drove the passenger to Duarte and without notice, the suspect placed a knife to the victim’s neck, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Temple Station. The crash happened in the 2200 block of Huntington Drive. “The suspect drove while holding a knife to the victim’s neck and then the suspect punched the victim several times, causing him to collide with another vehicle,” according to the Sheriff’s Temple Station in a written statement. It is unclear if the suspect was ever identified to law enforcement and arrested. The suspect fled the crash and was last seen at a nearby gas station. |
