Deputies responded at 3:21 a.m. to the 1100 block of Cleghorn Drive Wednesday on a report of a man bleeding from the head. The man was declared dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau. After arriving, deputies noted the victim, only described as a Hispanic man in his 60s, suffered an unknown blunt force trauma wound to the head, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
While investigating the death as suspicious, it is unclear if a suspect description is known. Firefighters were dispatched at 3:18 a.m. to the location. They arrived on scene at 3:22 a.m. to a report of a patient in cardiac arrest, according to a representative with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Initially, firefighters were told the patient suffered a head injury. There was no more information. There is no suspect information at this time. |
