Deputies were called to a possible burglary in progress on Sunset Crossing Road March 3 around 1 p.m. Deputies were then directed to a church where a man, the possible burglary suspect, was found severely bleeding. The suspect was found at Global Mission Church, 23425 Sunset Crossing Rd, according to Capt. Ron Singleton of the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Firefighters were dispatched at 1:14 p.m. and found the suspect with a crush injury and laceration to an arm and lacerations to his legs, Singleton said.

The burglary was reported around 6:44 p.m. in the 1900 block of Fern Hollow Drive December 20. Deputies arrived, found evidence of forced entry and confirmed two weapons were taken, according to Lt. Mario Avola of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Walnut/Diamond Bar Station. The suspects smashed through a rear glass sliding door, Avola said. The homeowner had numerous guns, but they took the two that we know of,” Avola said. “We believe a safe was also seen being put in the vehicle.” The neighbor only described the suspects as two Hispanic men.
