The collision occurred between three vehicles on the northbound 57 freeway transition road to the eastbound 60 freeway just before 12:30 a.m. One person has died at the scene, according to California Highway Patrol traffic logs. The north 57 transition road to the east 60 remains closed, as well as the No. 3 and 4 lanes of the east 60 freeway to the south 57, the CHP said. The two men held up the Circle K, 504 N. Diamond Bar Blvd. around 1:20 a.m. October 18. One of the men was armed with what was described to deputies as a green handgun, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Diamond Bar/Walnut Station crime broadcast. The suspects took off with $100, a deputy said. One suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and stood 6 feet 1 inch tall. The second suspect also wore a black hooded sweatshirt. He stood 5 feet 7 inches tall. The two men fled in a white or black Sedan. |
