​Man Shot in His Duarte Home Friday Morning

DUARTE - A man was transported by helicopter to an area trauma center after being shot Friday, October 5.
 
The shooting occurred in the 1600 block of Buena Vista Street just before Noon. The suspect is still outstanding and a description was not available, according to Lt. Robert Hahnlein of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Temple Station.
 
The man was shot once.
 
“I’m not sure if [the shooting] was at his front door or through the front door. I’m not sure if it was a gang activity, or not, but I think the individual went up to the front door,” Hahnlein said.
 
An updated condition for the victim is not available.
