Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor CLAREMONT - A man is expected to survive the gunshot wound he received after allegedly being attacked by three men early Thursday morning. Officers responded to Motel 6, 840 S. Indian Hill Blvd., at 1:11 a.m. July 23 to investigate a shooting report and found the victim near one of the rooms. He was shot once in the abdomen, according to the Claremont Police Department. The victim was taken to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center and underwent surgery. He is expected to make a full recovery, Claremont Police said. Police seek three men who fled the location in a vehicle.
All three suspects are Hispanic men. One suspect is 6 feet tall and wore an arm or wrist brace on one of his arms. A second suspect was only described as tall with a thin build and he had a shaved head. A third suspect was described as short, heavyset and a shaved head. Anyone with information on the shooting is urged to call the police department at 909-399-5411. |
