CLAREMONT - A girl was airlifted from a Claremont hiking trail and taken to Pomona Valley Hospital Medial Center Saturday morning.
The girl received undisclosed injuries, unknown if she experienced a medical episode or hurt herself, on the Sycamore Canyon Trail around 8:38 a.m. Los Angeles County Firefighters and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau responded to treat the girl.
The girl was found around 9:45 a.m., according to Dispatch Supervisor Ed Pickett of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The Special Enforcement Bureau hoisted the girl out and transported her to Pomona Valley.
