One suspect was described as a Latino male and a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. Sayvee Torres was last seen January 24 in the 800 block of Eldon Avenue in La Puente. The infant is believed to be with her parents, Brianna Torres and Oscar Morales. Detectives believe the parents are concealing the child and their whereabouts, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. There is concern for the infants well-being, but detectives have not provided details as to why. Detectives have not provided descriptions of Torres nor Morales. The shooting occurred around 6:40 p.m. in the 16600 block of Maplegrove Street November 6, according to Sgt. Aguilar of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station. It is unclear if a motive was learned, or if there were any other victims. Deputies checked surrounding hospitals, but so far no other gunshot victims were found, according to Sheriff’s radio traffic. Deputies setup a perimeter around the neighborhood, questioned a number of potential witnesses to the shooting and conducted as search of the crime scene to find victims there. Deputies were told of a suspect vehicle, which may have turned up several blocks away on Pass and Covina Road, but it is unclear if a suspect is in custody. A woman was struck in one or more of her extremities. She was also hospitalized and is listed as stable, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The assault with a deadly weapon occurred near 17301 Valley Blvd. just after 4:30 p.m. July 24. The armed suspect exited a black older-model Hyundai SUV and stabbed his victim once in the left arm, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s radio broadcast. Sgt. Smith of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station is unaware of any arrests and is unsure of a motive for the crime. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, Smith told SGV CityWatch. The suspect was described to deputies as a Hispanic man around 35 years old. He was described as heavy set, stood 5 feet 6 inches, wore a black shirt and black shorts, according to the radio broadcast. The Hyundai SUV was driven away by another heavy-set Hispanic man. The robbery was reported just before 5 p.m. at the Metro PCS, 14535 Temple Ave. At least one suspect simulated a handgun during the robbery and forced an employee to the rear of the store, according to Sgt. Magdaleno of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station. No injuries were reported. The suspects fled southbound on Clintwood Avenue on foot. They were only described as Black males wearing masks and dressed in all black. The shooting was reported to deputies around 8:01 p.m. in the 17300 block of Hurley Street, December 10. A Hispanic man was found wounded by gunfire. He died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau. While the information bureau states that there was no suspect information available, and earlier crime broadcast described two males leaving the area after the shooting. It is unclear, though, if those two meals seen leaving the area are connected to the shooting. Deputies described the weapon as possibly being a black semi automatic handgun. The death was reported in the 800 block of North Hacienda Boulevard around 6:25 a.m. The victim, described as an adult male, was declared dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
