Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor CLAREMONT - Police are searching for the trigger man in a shooting from Monday night. Police responded to the Motel 6, 840 S. Indian Hill Blvd., just before 7 a.m. August 3 to a shooting call and found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound inside one of the rooms, according to the Claremont Police Department. “The shooting victim was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, where they underwent surgery and are expected to survive. The motivation that led to the shooting is unknown,” the Claremont Police Department said in a written statement.
The suspect possibly fled the motel in a vehicle. The suspect was described as a Hispanic man, 25 years old, stands 6 feet tall and wore a baseball hat. Anyone with information on the suspect is urged to call the Claremont Police Department at 909-399-5411.
