Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor SAN DIMAS - A parolee and known gang banger was arrested November 9 after he was seen speeding through a shopping center.
The suspect was stopped at the shopping center near Village Court and Arrow Highway around 10 p.m. The vehicle being driven also had a tarp obscuring the rear windshield, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s San Dimas Station. The suspect was recognized as a member of the San Dimas Rifa Street Gang. He is also on active parole, according to the Sheriff’s San Dimas Station. “Deputies conducted a parole search of the suspects person along with a search of the vehicle and they recovered Methamphetamine and counterfeit U.S. currency,” according to the Sheriff’s San Dimas Station in a written statement. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of sales of methamphetamine, transportation for sales of methamphetamine and possession of counterfeit currency. Due to the ongoing investigation, the suspect’s name will not be revealed, according to Sgt. Duarte of the Sheriff’s San Dimas station. |
