COVINA - A man on probation for vehicle theft was caught with stolen property — some of which he attempted to sell to undercover detectives, Covina Police said.
Josue Oliva, a Pomona man, is accused of attempting to sell items through OfferUp — items taken in a recent theft case, according to the Covina Police Department.
Covina detectives met with Oliva in West Covina around 4 p.m. February 11 in the 500 block of East Workman Avenue in West Covina to complete the transaction.
After arresting Oliva, detectives learned that he was not only driving a stolen vehicle, but was also in possession of stolen identification and burglary tools, Covina Police said.
Oliva is also on probation for vehicle theft. A probation hold was issued, Covina police said.
