COVINA - Firefighters are battling a patio fire that has possibly extended into an upstairs unit.

Firefighters were dispatched to the fire at a two-story apartment complex at 1108 W. San Bernardino Road at 2:52 p.m., according to Los Angeles County Fire Department radio traffic.

Firefighters knocked down fire on the first floor at 3:09 p.m., but have asked for second-alarm units to fight fire on the second floor with fire possibly burning in the second floor.

No victims have been reported.
