COVINA - Four people were arrested last week, three accused of assault with a deadly weapon, two accused of attempted murder after a confrontation at an apartment resulted in gunfire.

One of the suspects shot at the victims, two parents and two children, as they drove away during a chase on Covina streets -- a bullet narrowly missed one of the children, Covina Police said.

The children are 8 years old and 8 months old.

The incident unfolded before 11:30 p.m. June 15 in the 100 block of East College Street. A confrontation with family of the victims’ neighbor spilled into the street from an apartment complex.

The victims were followed as they fled in a vehicle. Two men, Adam Robles and Marcos Robles, drove in opposing lanes and then blocked the victims, who struck the suspect vehicle as they fled, Covina Police said.
The 8-year-old child suffered abrasions to her face and eyes from shattered glass, Covina Police said.

The Robles brothers and Marcos’ girlfriend were captured in a San Bernardino motel without incident June 20.

Marcos, 28, and Adam, 22, were booked on suspicion of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats. They are being held in lieu of $1 million bail and await a court appearance June 24.

Manuel Olague, 36, was arrested June 18 and booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats. He posted $50,000 bond a day later and was scheduled for a court appearance June 20.

Marcos’ girlfriend, 26-year-old Victoria Williams, was booked on suspicion of being an accessory after the fact. She is being held in lieu of $20,000 bail and awaits a court appearance June 24.
