COVINA - Gas infrastructure maintenance work will impact traffic along Barranca Avenue from August to September, city officials said.
Barranca Avenue will be affected from Puente Street to East Navilla Place from August 13 to September 21. The work will be conducted from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The work is being done to modernize the pipeline system to enhance public safety while reliably providing natural gas to customers, according to SoCal Gas.
Temporary lane closures will occur as work moves along the street in sections.
