Investigators learned that the girl’s parents who still reside in Guatemala demanded their daughter Heidy Julissa Cac Choc return to their home country or they would have someone return her, according to the La Verne Police Department. Heidy was reported missing at 5:23 p.m. April 11 by her foster mother. She was last seen leaving her Bonita High School class at 2:40 p.m. It is either unknown, or has not been publicly shared why Heidy’s parents demanded her return to Guatemala. Staff at Camp Joseph Paige, 6601 North Stephens Ranch Rd., discovered the 15-year-old was missing just before 7 p.m. He was possibly seen fleeing near the Marshal Canyon Golf Course, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s radio traffic. The teen is Hispanic, stands about 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, has long black hair and was wearing a grey long sleeve shirt and grey pants. The teen is accused of battery, deputies were told. |
