The two men were caught on surveillance camera withdrawing funds from the victim’s account in eight transactions between September 5 and September 12 -- five at a San Dimas Bank of America and three at a Glendora Bank of America, La Verne Police said. Then men are unknown to the victim. The suspects were captured on camera driving to each location in a newer grey Infiniti Q50 4dr with paper plates from Keys Cars in Van Nuys. Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor LA VERNE - Police are seeking two men who recently stole $1,000 in high-end electric toothbrushes in November.
The men took an unspecified amount of the toothbrushes from displays and fled through a rear emergency exit from Target, 2462 Foothill Blvd, November 12. The men fled in a waiting Honda Accord, according to the La Verne Police Department. The suspects committed a similar theft along with two female accomplices at the same Target in October, La Verne Police said. Both suspects are described as Hispanic men. One suspect is 25 to 30 years old, stands 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 220 pounds, sports a goatee and long hair in a ponytail. The second suspect is 40 to 45 years old, stands 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. The men fled in a 1996 or 1997 tan Honda Accord. Written by AARON CASTREJON | CityWatch Editor LA VERNE - A Los Angeles man and Rancho Cucamonga woman were jailed September 23 after police found a semi-automatic handgun, methamphetamine and more in their stolen vehicle.
La Verne officers stopped the duo in the area of Arrow Highway and Fairplex Drive around 5 p.m. September 23 after discovering the vehicle was stolen. After detaining the man and woman, a search of the vehicle was conducted, revealing a TEC-22 firearm, a large amount of meth and burglary tools, according to the La Verne Police Department. David Flores, 34, from Los Angeles, and Jamie Tejada, 20, from Rancho Cucamonga were both booked on a variety of charges, including several gun related charges, possession of methamphetamine for sales, possession of burglary tools and for warrants, La Verne Police said. Tejada and Flores are scheduled to appear in Pomona Superior Court Thursday, September 27. The suspect came into possession of the stolen debit card and used it twice, August 24 and August 25, withdrawing $800 total from a Glendora One West Bank, 600 W. Route 66, according to the La Verne Police Department. It is unclear how the debit card was taken and how the suspect learned the victim’s PIN number. The suspect appears to be a white man in his early to id 20’s. He sports a goatee. The suspect is unknown to the victim.
