Trains Cancelled After Person is Struck on the Tracks in La Verne

LA VERNE - A person was hit by a Metrolink train bound for Los Angeles Tuesday morning.

The collision occurred on the tracks south of Arrow Highway at San Dimas Canyon Road around 6:10 a.m.

The tracks between the Pomona North station and Covina station remain closed, according to Metrolink.

MTA buses are assisting riders on cancelled trains.

Riders can drive down to the Downtown Pomona station and take the Riverside line to Los Angeles.
