AZUSA - Detectives are searching for answers behind the death of a man and woman.
The victims were found by officers dispatched to a medical assist call November 5, according to Sgt. Seth Chapman of the Azusa Police Department.
Police and firefighters responded to an address in the 1100 block of East Hollyvale Street around 2:18 p.m.
Chapman had few details to provide initially as detectives are now working the case.
Chapman declined to state who called police to the scene. Dispatch Supervisor Michael Pittman of the Los Angeles County Fire Department stated the call came from someone “in the area.”
Firefighters were called to treat two patients with a medical problem, Pittman said.
Azusa residents Chelsea Meeks, 31, and Nicholas King, 34, were identified by Lt. Larry Dietz of the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner.
Autopsies have yet to be scheduled, Dietz said.
