The crash occurred at Olive Street and Baldwin Park Blvd., December 30. Firefighters were dispatched at 6:49 p.m. The rider was reported dead at 6:56 p.m., according to Dispatch Supervisor Miguel Ornelas of the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The motorcyclist was traveling likely at a high rate of speed on Olive Street when the motorcycle collided with a Dodge Durango that was about to make a left turn, according to Sgt. Gonzalez of the Baldwin Park Police Department. Gonzalez described the rider as a 41-year-old Asian man. The driver of the Durango was uninjured, Gonzalez told SGV CityWatch. Ryan Milliner, 13, died from blunt force trauma. He was identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner. His death was ruled accidental. The crash occurred around 1:43 p.m. on the eastbound I-10 freeway at the Francisquito Avenue off ramp. The driver of a 2008 International DuraStar flatbed tow truck failed to brake in time for stopped traffic in the No. 5 lane and rear ended a 2018 Toyota Corolla, which was pushed into a 2019 Kia Niro, according to the California Highway Patrol. The tow truck driver also slammed into a vehicle in the No. 4 lane: a 2018 Nissan Murano occupied by Milliner in the right rear seat, the CHP said.
The Nissan Murano was struck by a 2004 Dodge Ram truck after the former hit the center divider. A 2018 Lexus IS200T then struck the Murano, the CHP said. The Kia Niro rear-ended a 2008 Honda Odyssey and a 2006 Honda CRV, the latter rear-ended a 2000 Toyota Corolla. Milliner died at the scene. One driver suffered major blunt force trauma. Injuries to many others in the crash ranged from major to minor. A 10,000-pound, three-axle semi trailer was involved in a collision with a pickup truck and a sedan on the I-10 at Baldwin Park Boulevard February 19, according to California Highway Patrol traffic logs. The collision occurred around 4 a.m. A Sig Alert was requested around 4:20 a.m. The California Highway Patrol cancelled the Sig Alert around 7 a.m. Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor BALDWIN PARK - One person was critically injured, three others received unspecified injuries in a three vehicle crash on the west I-10 freeway east of Frazier Street Monday. The crash has forced a Sig Alert for all lanes except for the HOV lane until at least 1:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

The victim, a 25-year-old Norwalk resident yet to be identified, was the passenger in a collision on the eastbound I-10 freeway west of Francisquito Avenue April 26. The victim exited a 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo after it hit a disabled 2016 Volkswagen Passat in the No. 1 lane, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash occurred just after 3 a.m.
The victim left the Monte Carlo and walked into the No. 2 where a 2013 Toyota Prius was approaching. The Prius’ driver could not stop in time and hit the victim, the CHP said. The Prius continued and soon struck a Toyota Camry. The victim died at the scene. The Prius driver was taken to Queen of the Valley Hospital in West Covina for complaint of pain. All eastbound lanes west of Francisquito Avenue were closed at 3:20 a.m. The No. 1 lane was opened by 4:36 a.m. All remaining lanes were closed until 6:53 a.m. Alcohol and drugs are not suspected factors in the crash. BALDWIN PARK - Most lanes remain closed after a big rig tipped over and fell across the No. 1, 2 and 3 lanes of the east I-10 freeway just east of the 605 freeway Wednesday morning. A Sig Alert for the No 1, 2,3 and 4 lanes remain in effect until at least 11 a.m. after about 40,000 pounds of honeydew melon were spilled across the freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol. The semi tipped over around 6 a.m. Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor IRWINDALE - One person is confirmed dead after a FedEx truck overturned on the Los Angeles Street off ramp to the north 605 freeway Tuesday. Early reports from Los Angeles County firefighters report one person was trapped inside the overturned truck. Minutes later, firefighters declared the victim dead at the scene. The crash was dispatched to the California Highway Patrol at 5:16 p.m. Several other vehicles were involved. A Sig Alert has been issued for an unknown duration for the off ramp, the CHP said. The collision occurred around 10:12 p.m. in the center divider on Ramona Boulevard. At least two occupants of one of the vehicles were trapped after the wreck, according to Inspector David Michel of the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Of those six patients, five met trauma center criteria and of those five, four were critical patients, Michel said. The collision between a minivan and red truck is a Baldwin Park Police investigation. California Highway Patrol traffic logs indicated that at least one person died in the collision, but the Baldwin Park Police day shift supervisor has not answered calls, or returned a message inquiring about the crash. All patients were taken by ground ambulances to nearby hospitals.
