The woman was found late Monday near Fremont and Montezuma by the I-10 freeway. As stated, the woman has no identification and is unable to tell officers where she is from, Alhambra Police said. Two female suspects were caught on surveillance soon after using the lost card at a Target store, Home Depot and Burlington all in Alhambra. The surveillance footage at Target caught the suspects in the self-checkout, Alhambra Police said. The Camaro spun out on the I-10 freeway eastbound at South Fremont Avenue around 10:22 a.m. The crash damaged about 50 feet of guardrail on the right shoulder, requiring a closure of the No. 5 lane until about 1 or 2 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. ALHAMBRA - A man was taken into Alhambra Police custody March 20 after attacking a woman’s car at a McDonald’s drive-thru Tuesday.
The unidentified man was taken into custody after the incident, which was caught on a lengthy cell phone video captured by El Monte man David Chau. The suspect attacked the woman’s car, seemingly unprovoked, while Good Samaritans tried to stop him:
The McDonald’s is located at 909 E. Main St. The man charged at the Good Samaritans, threatening him with his cane and lightly splashing him with his drink.
The same man then walked into traffic at Atlantic and Commonwealth the same night. He picked up a “no parking” pylon and planted it in front of a car waiting for the green light.
“We are aware of the video that has been shared and the subject was arrested and the investigation is ongoing,” Alhambra Police said in a social media post.
Alhambra Police have yet to return numerous calls for information regarding the incident. Written by AARON CASTREJON | CityWatch Editor ALHAMBRA – A group of attempted robbery suspects failed to take anything from their victim near 7-Eleven Sunday.
The crime occurred around 8:24 p.m. near 7-Eleven, 2150 S. Fremont. The suspects approached their victim east of the convenience store. No weapons were seen, Alhambra Police said in a crime broadcast. The first suspect is a male Hispanic, 18 to 20 years old. He wore a black hoodie. The second suspect is a male Hispanic 18 to 20 years old. He wore a white t-shirt. The victim could not provide a description for three other suspects. All five suspects fled eastbound on Montezuma towards Grenada Park, 2000 W. The woman was caught on surveillance camera taking the stroller from a home in the 1900 block of West Commonwealth Avenue. The woman was dropped off in a 1990 to 2005 four-door silver Kia Spectra, Alhambra Police said. ![]() The woman is described as Hispanic, 18 to 25 years old, 5-foot 3 to 5 feet 5 inches tall, 120 to 140 pounds, has reddish brown hair and a thin build. She wore a black hoodie, black leggings and black shoes. The Kia Spectra sported chrome rims or hubcaps. Anyone with information on the suspect is urged to call the Alhambra Tip Line at 626-308-4875.
