The crash occurred on South Fremont Avenue north of West Mission Road around 8:42 a.m. when the Corvette left the road and hit the pole, according to the Alhambra Police Department and Alhambra Fire Department.
No other vehicles were involved inn the crash. The extent of injuries to the driver are unclear.  PHOTO/Alhambra Police. Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor ALHAMBRA - A motorcyclist was jailed Tuesday morning after losing control of his ride and crashing, police said. The unidentified rider accelerated and ran a stop sign in the area of Pine and Maguerita around 4 a.m. May 14 while an officer in the area attempted to keep the rider in his sight. The rider lost control of the motorcycle and crashed, Alhambra Police said.
The rider sustained some injuries, was detained, eventually hospitalized and jailed after officers learned the motorcycle was stolen out of Monterey Park, Alhambra Police said. |
