Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor ALHAMBRA - Police discovered an Asian man inside a vehicle Saturday night, dead from a single gunshot wound, Sheriff’s Homicide detectives said.
Alhambra officers were called to the 900 block of West Ramona Road at 8:10 p.m. December 14 to investigate a suspicious vehicle and found the man shot within. He was declared dead at the scene, according to Marvin Crowder of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau. There is no known suspect or motive. Anyone with information on the shooting is urged to call the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500. Information can be provided anonymously by calling L.A. ABC7 Eyewitness news is reporting the deputy was not on duty when the shooting occurred in the restaurant, 2531 W. Valley Boulevard. The deputy was taken to County/USC Medical Center in unknown condition.
