Murder-Suicide Suspected After Man, Woman Found in Alhambra Home

ALHAMBRA - Officers discovered the bodies of a man and woman inside their home April 20 after receiving a call from a concerned citizen who had not heard from the couple in days.

The deaths were discovered in a single-family home in the 900 block of North Almansor Street. Police were called to check on the residence at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. While checking the home, officers found an unlocked back door with no signs of forced entry and went inside where they found the bodies, according to the Alhambra Police Department.

“The initial investigation indicates the female was a homicide victim and the male committed suicide. Evidence located at the scene indicates this was a murder/suicide and it is believed there is no risk to the public,” according to the Alhambra Police Department in a written statement.

Susie Lee Yeh and David Yeh, both 56, were identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner. Examinations have not yet been scheduled.
