CityWatch Editor INDUSTRY - A man who frequents the Covina and La Puente areas is believed to have sexually assaulted a victim December 10. The assault took the place in the morning hours near Puente Hills Mall, 1600 S. Azusa Ave., and Colima Road. Detectives acquired surveillance video from Foothill Transit that showed the suspect riding a bus in the Covina and La Puente areas, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The suspect is a white man who is approximately 30 years old. He has black hair, and wore a dark jacket and gray sweat pants. He is possible transient, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor INDUSTRY – A suspect fled on foot after cutting another man’s arm during some type of argument late Tuesday night.
First responders were called to the 300 block of South Newquist Place south of Proctor Avenue around 11:43 p.m. May 11. The argument escalated, causing one man to cut the victim’s arm, according to Lt. Bernal of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station. The injury is not considered serious, Bernal told SGV CityWatch. Bernal did not know what the argument was about. A suspect has not been arrested. A description was not readily available. |
