Man Later Dies After Being Stabbed at Puente Hills Mall

INDUSTRY - Homicide detectives are determining what led to a fatal stabbing at Puente Hills Mall Thursday night.

Deputies responded to the mall, 1600 S. Azusa Ave., around 11:30 p.m. The man who was stabbed was taken to a hospital where he later died, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The victim, a white man age 30 to 35 years old, was found on a sidewalk outside the mall. A suspect was later arrested and a knife was recovered at the scene, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

The circumstances leading to the stabbing are not publicly clear.
