INDUSTRY - Firefighters helped rescue a man who became pinned under a forklift Monday afternoon.

A 29-year-old man became pinned after the forklift reportedly fell off a loading dock in the 100 block of North Baldwin Park Boulevard around 3:50 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The man was removed after another forklift lifted the fallen forklift that pinned the man, firefighters said.

Firefighters report the man suffered moderate injuries to an arm and partial amputation.

The man was transported by helicopter to an area trauma center for further treatment.
