The wounded 27-year-old drove herself to Huntington Memorial Hospital where she was treated for her injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol. CHP officers and major crimes detectives responded to the scene on the eastbound 210 freeway at Lincoln Avenue around 7:30 p.m. after being notified by the Pasadena Police Department. The CHP did not state if a suspect description is available. Anyone with information on this shooting is urged to call Detective M. Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor PASADENA – A suspect who stole two vehicles and a beloved dog was arrested after the pet’s GPS collar led officers right to him.
Officers were called to the 1000 block of East Union Street the week of November 29 to a vehicle theft. The suspect dumped his other ride, which was also stolen, and took off with a vehicle containing the owner’s dog, Kazoo, according to the Pasadena Police Department. The GPS collar helped officers to pinpoint the suspect’s location, unbeknownst to him. “Officers were able to monitor the GPS tracker and with the help of the LAPD, were able to stop the suspect in the area of the 105 freeway and Imperial Hwy.,” according to the Pasadena Police Department in a written statement. Both Kazoo and the stolen vehicle were recovered. The unidentified suspect was taken into custody. |
