PASADENA - A teen was killed Saturday evening when a bullet pierced through his home and struck him, Pasadena Police said.
The teen was later declared dead at a hospital. First responders were called to a home in the 900 block of North Raymond Avenue at 6:12 p.m. to a call of a gunshot victim, according to Lt. Anthony Burgess of the Pasadena Police Department.
Pasadena Police first arrived to the scene.
“Life-saving measures were given by the officers. The fire department responded and quickly transported this 13-year-old to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased,” Burgess told SGV CityWatch.
A suspect remains at-large.
There is no suspect description readily available, Burgess told SGV CityWatch.
Pasadena Police Homicide detectives are investigating the crime.
