Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor ARCADIA - The suspects involved in a seemingly-random shooting outside a bar Saturday morning are still outstanding. There is no motive yet for the shooting outside The Station, 1218 S. Baldwin Ave., that occurred around 12:26 a.m. June 29. At least one suspect fired five to six shots, which hit several vehicles. One round also struck the bar itself near a patio area, according to Lt. Brian Ortiz of the Arcadia Police Department. No one was injured, Ortiz said. The suspects, described as two Asian males and two females, were inside the bar prior to the gunfire. The suspects fled in a white Lexus SUV south through the parking lot, Ortiz said. Initial witness statements indicate that there was no obvious disagreement or argument involving the suspects prior to the shooting, Ortiz said.
About 30 patrons were inside the bar when gunfire erupted. The front doors were locked and patrons were evacuated through a rear door after officers arrived. Several off-duty El Monte Police officers were inside the bar at the time of the shooting. At least one was armed, according to Arcadia Police radio traffic. Anyone with information on the suspects is urged to call Arcadia Police at 626-574-5151.
