ARCADIA - An older husband and wife were found dead inside in Arcadia home after a relative discovered the scene Tuesday, Sheriff’s deputies said.

A relative discovered the grizzly scene in the 500 block of Los Altos Avenue around 10:33 p.m. July 6. A 75-year-old man was found dead in a garage, a 68-year-old woman was found dead in the house, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Both are husband and wife.

Evidence found at the scene leads detectives to believe this was a murder suicide, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

What exactly that evidence is has not been publicly revealed.

ARCADIA - Detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau are assisting Arcadia Police with the death of a woman that occurred Monday night.

Authorities responded to a residence in the 500 block of Los Altos Avenue just after 10:30 p.m. July 6. The woman died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

The possible manner of death has not been publicly revealed. It is also unclear if a suspect or suspects are outstanding.

ARCADIA – Police announced the arrest of a young man accused of sexual assault and exploitation of past and present Arcadia High School students.

Dylan Chan, 18, was arrested June 30 at 2 p.m. and booked on suspicion of possession of child pornography, distribution of child pornography, using a minor for sex acts and sexual exploitation of a child, according to the Arcadia Police Department.

The arrest resulted from a search warrant served at Chan’s home June 24. Detectives seized evidence that led to the man’s arrest.

Police were made aware of sex assault allegations leveled against Chad, a former Arcadia High School student, by female victims June 23.
