Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor ARCADIA - Four teens stole two gold chains at gunpoint from their victim Tuesday night, Arcadia Police were told.
The robbery occurred at 420 N. Santa Anita Ave. sometime after 10:30 p.m. August 29. One of the suspects was armed with what appeared to be a black semiautomatic handgun, according to Arcadia Police radio traffic. Three suspects fled on foot north to an apartment complex at 21 E. Colorado Blvd. where they jumped a fence to nearby Newman Avenue. A fourth suspect escaped into a gold Lincoln SUV which was driven south on Santa Anita Avenue, according to Arcadia Police radio traffic. All four suspects were described as Latino males ranging from 14 to 15 years old. One suspect appeared 15 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 150 pounds and has short black hair with a heart shaved into the back of his head. He wore a black polo and black pants. A second suspect appeared 15 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 130 pounds and has short black hair in a bowl cut. He wore silver earrings, a black Ralph Lauren hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and black shoes. Suspect three appeared 15 years old with black puffy hair. No other description was available. The fourth suspect appeared 14 years old. He wore a blue cap. No other description was available. |
